“ If you have friends (or even if you don't), I couldn't recommend a better place to go to strengthen those bonds (or for creating new ones). Bar Brava just feels like an authentic place. It's simplicity, ultimately expressed its elegance. What distinguishes Bar Brava from all the wine bars in Minneapolis is its adherence to serving "natural wine." I had never heard the term "natural wine" before, but to simplify, it is wine that is grown without chemicals and fermented without preservatives. The price per glass, and for the bottles, is better than any other bar considering the quality. Dan, the owner, happened to be the one who served me. Not only did it feel like he was an old buddy, but he was a phenomenal host. There are a number of regional wines to choose from, and I challenge you to discriminate between these local natural wine flavors and your current conventional wine favorites. Brava Bar's food is made by Khue's kitchen. I wrote a separate Khue's kitchen review covering the food and describing a little more about the atmosphere. ”
“ Amazing food and wine. I’m not sure there’s anything bad you can order. Atmosphere is on point and very tasteful. This is a hidden gem and is on par with the nicest restaurants in the twin cities. ”
“ Initially I was denied access with my service dog. I needed to educate the manager. The waiter was awesome and attentive. Food was yummy, small portions, but beautiful displayed. My entire group 6 hated the zucchini dish but I liked it. Very limited wine selection which was disappointing. Ambiance was classy and clean. But overall great wine experience. ”

“ Menu changes frequently found out... Went for what looked like a delicious Nashville chicken sando saw online but was nowhere to find on menu when got there. They do guest chefs that change every so often, which was about to change again soon after told. But the main reason came was for some natural wines which was still flowing and would come back for more... ”
“ Had monthly date night with my partner here yesterday! It was a pretty good time; plenty of street parking, very cozy atmosphere and our server was phenomenal. I enjoyed both wines that I ordered, and we tried a few dishes since they were smaller plates. The potato dumplings were spectacular, and the special of the night (The Salmon) was very refreshing; the beet risotto that was paired with it complimented the fish perfectly. The Basque Cake was beautiful and had its sweetness brought out with the bit of sea salt on top along with the tang of the cream off to the side. The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was the cracker/bread to cheese ratio on the cheese plate, as well as a couple of the cheeses felt a bit flat to me in terms of flavor. I know the menu rotates quite frequently though and would be excited to have another outing in the future to try even more wonderful dishes here! ”

We love this place because the food and dessert are consistently fabulous and some of the best food in the Twin Cities, and because we fell in love with their natural wines.
